Microsoft recently announced that they were releasing the Office Suite mobile apps free of charge, however when recently setting up an Office 365 deployment we came across the following error: An error occurred. Contact your administrator for more information. Error details Activity ID: a610-0080000000c3 Relaying party: Microsoft Office 365 Identity Platform Error time: Cookie: enabled User agent string: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 8_0_2 like Mac OS X) After some searching around the internet it appeared to be a relatively undocumented error and couldn’t find much information. Eventually we found the fix, which was related to the AD FS Server as part of the deployment for SSO (single sign on). On the AD FS management console on the server it was running on we changed the Global Authentication Policy to allow Forms Authentication for the Intranet Zone. To do this, on the AD FS console, select Authentication Policies > Edit Global Primary Authentication Policy > Select Forms Authentication under the Intranet Zone.
